Your Voice Stays Local
Every single millisecond of audio you process with oto stays on your Mac. It never touches a server. We use OpenAI Whisper, NVIDIA Parakeet, and Apple Transcription models, but we run them on your hardware. Not ours.
No Telemetry
We don't know how often you use oto. We don't know what languages you speak. We don't know if you're a doctor, a lawyer, or a spy. And we like it that way.
Zero Data Collection
We don't have a "data privacy policy" that is 50 pages long because we don't collect data. If there's no data, there's nothing to steal, sell, or lose.
Apple App Store
Payments and downloads are handled by Apple. We see what Apple tells us—which is basically nothing identifiable.
